The Great American Electric Flying Car Races
October 15-18, Springfield Beckley Airport, OHIO
3 flying cars, 7 pilot teams, and “a whole lotta fun!” America's first flying cars and first flying pilots will compete in a series of maneuvers against the clock in this incredibly fun event, showcasing bleeding edge technology that will usher us into the future.
Heather Chirtea will be the keynote speaker and a handful of pilots will be flying in the races. Join us for the education STEM day, career day, or the races on the weekend. The Advanced Air Mobility Institute and NAAMCE team up!

The birth of the flying car
The nation is on the eve of a massive change - the flying car. Right now, only 5 human-flight vehicles have been delivered to consumers in the US. We’ve got 2 of them, and the nation’s pioneering pilots are embarking on an adventure tour. The sky is no longer the limit.

Television Series: “Under the Wing”
Back in the earliest days of flight there were no airports. Cross-country pilots would land in a random field and pitch their tent “Under the wing”. So Fly will release a television series chronicling the adventures of The Soar Tour entourage embarking on the first coast-to-coast trip in a flying car.
